Demo line · New Zealand
Ring the receptionist.
Hear it for yourself.
The demo line is answered by Ahoyhoy itself. It knows it is a demo: it will tell you it is an AI, talk about what Ahoyhoy does for a small business, and answer your questions. It does not take orders.
Call it from any New Zealand phone
+64 9 886 9518An Auckland number, so it costs whatever your plan charges for a national call. The AI side is on us.

Ahoyhoy calls you within a few seconds, then it's the same conversation.
What you'll hear
- 01
It answers in about a second. And it says straight away that it is an AI receptionist.
- 02
It only talks about Ahoyhoy. What it does, how it would answer for a business like yours, how to get started. Ask it anything on that.
- 03
It does not take orders or bookings. There is no business behind the demo line, so there is nothing to order. Your own number will have your menu and your instructions.
- 04
Talk over it if you like. It stops and listens, the way a person would. Hang up whenever you want.
- 05
It wraps up on time. Calls run up to 4 minutes. It says goodbye before the end and, if you want, points you to sign up.
Fair use
Ahoyhoy pays for every minute on this line, so it has limits.
- New Zealand numbers only. Withheld or overseas caller ID is not answered.
- Each call runs up to 4 minutes. It says goodbye 30 seconds before the end.
- Each number gets 8 minutes a day and 20 minutes in total.
- Up to 3 calls at once and 60 minutes a day across everyone. After that you get a busy tone until midnight.

You are always talking to an AI, and it says so. The conversation runs on an OpenAI model. Our server keeps a text transcript and call timings in memory to check quality, not as audio and not on disk; they go when the server restarts. If you ask it to ring you, your number is used to place that one call and kept the same way. Nothing is recorded.
